YouTube

This is a favorite of mine. I can see all kinds of applications with YouTube. Recently, I viewed some short book reviews. They were fun and inviting, done by librarians. The library where this was happening actually experienced an increase in circulation of some of their older materials. I would love to see something like that added to our Books and Reading site. Anyone have proposal for the New Technology Committee?

I can also see this to draw attention to SRP or the Teens. It can be shared on our Facebook account.

We can even demonstrate certain types of procedures.

Web 2.0 awards

This is really fantastic. I checked out the travel and of course, the food. Also, events and health. All of them contain more information than any one could possibly take in at one time. I'm definitely going back to see what new restaurants I can try. Can you believe how many places there are to eat in this area!?

Web APS--Google Docs

Google Docs rocks--I like this so much more than having to handle multiple versions of a draft. It's also easier to get to wherever I am. I hope I can get those who are working with me on a project to use it.

Wiki Experience

With the wiki, we could accomplish many possibilities. I can see how a wiki could serve us well for project planning and committees. Everything is in one place. You can change and update.

Unfortunately, it takes some getting accustomed to when all this time we have used email. I hope staff will start considering this option for some of their projects and ideas. It doesn't have to be a customer service.
